Sensory art practices increasingly situate humans within complex networks of interdependent living beings, environmental forces, and invisible processes. Exploring these currents through the artists' own voices, we invited Art Senses 2026 applicants whose project proposals earned special recognition to share their views. This question relates to our inquiry into sensory art practices that move away from human-centric towards more-than-human perspectives, cultivating new ways of relating to diverse living forms and invisible, life-sustaining ecological systems. Yussef Agbo-Ola is an artist and medicinal architect living between London, Ibadan, and the Amazon Forest. His multidisciplinary practice interprets natural energy systems through interactive experiments, exploring connections across sensory environments.
